The General Assembly of Judges planned for March 13 will not take place. This was put off and its holding will depend on the epidemiological situation related to COVID-19, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the Superior Council of Magistracy.
According to the Council, they asked for the National Public Health Agency’s opinion about the possibility of holding the General Assembly of Judges and this recommended transferring the event.
Given the developments related to the infection with COVID-19 on Moldova’s territory, the national extraordinary public health commission banned holding meetings and assemblies involving more than 50 persons in the period between March 11 and April 1.
The decision to convoke the General Assembly of Judges in March was taken by the Superior Council of Magistracy in the middle of January.
