Gazprom turns gas tap back on

Gazprom has ordered today the resumption of gas supplies to Europe through Ukraine, several minutes later than previously announced (10:00AM Moscow time), the Russian agency RIA Novosti reported, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “We've received the order and are now executing it”, was the response of the staff at the Sudja gas compression station on the Russian-Ukrainian border. Currently the volume of gas pumped through Sudja is 3,126 million cubic meters an hour and is destined to the Balkan countries, Turkey and Moldova. Experts in the filed estimate that consumers will receive the pumped gas within 36 hours after the valves are turned on.
