Gasoline COR 95 and diesel fuel during the next three days will be sold at the price of 24.49 lei/liter each. This is the price ceiling set by the National Agency for Energy Regulation for December 3-5, IPN reports.

In June this year, fuel prices reached a record high of 33.90 lei per liter of gasoline COR 95 and 32.46 lei per litter of standard gasoline. The price of diesel fuel is now the lowest since the prices started to rise following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In the recent period, the price of gasoline COR 95 decreased by 9.41 lei/liter cumulatively, while the price of standard gasoline declined by 7.97 lei/liter cumulatively, down about 27.8% and, respectively, 24.6% from the June record highs.

For the first time since the beginning of November, a slight decline was reported on international exchanges. This is due to the cut in oil production before the December 4 meeting of OPEC+.
