Gas transportation through Ananiev-Tiraspol-Ismail pipeline resumed
The transportation of gas to the Balkans through the Ananiev-Tiraspol-Ismail pipeline was resumed, SA Moldovagaz announced, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The company said that the repair works on the damaged pipeline in the zone served by SRL Tiraspoltransgaz were completed on April 5 at 17.00. The given segment is now insulated. The insulation works will be finished by April 11.
“Until the works are completed, the pressure in the pipeline will be under 50 kilograms per square centimeter. This volume is similar to the volume of natural gas transported to the Balkans before the accident,” SA Moldovagaz says in a communiqué.
The gas pipeline was damaged as a result of an explosion on the segment of pipe going near Copanca and Chiscani villages of Causeni district on April 1, this year.
