Gas Natural Fenosa in 2012 made investments of 166 million lei, 70% of which were directed to the power distribution infrastructure, the company’s president Silvia Radu said in the annual conference “Gas Natural Fenosa in Moldova’s energy system – present and future,” Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the report presented at the conference, 81 km of network were built in 2012. Another 200 km were rehabilitated. There were changed 20 transformers and reconstructed 300 transformer stations. In order to avoid unexpected situations, there was bought a mobile electrical generator of 600 kilowatts. “We are ready to meet the challenges of winter,” said Sivia Radu. She also said that work is done to reduce the term for connecting consumers to the power distribution networks, including economic entities. In the last World Bank rankings “Doing Business”, Moldova is among the countries that scored a low number of points in this respect. “In 2011, the connection orders made based on the applications of consumers were fulfilled in 8.24 days on average per company. Now this figure stands at 3.29 days and we continue to work. The goal of the company is to provide services of a high quality for the consumers,” stated the president of Gas Natural Fenosa. According to her, though the contract for the supply of power expires on March 31, 2013, all the possible suppliers have been already contacted and asked to present their offers. deja au fost contactaţi toţi furnizorii posibili pentru a solicita ofertele lor.
