Gas Natural Fenosa in Moldova reiterates its support for the international event Earth Hour 2015. The electricity supplier encourages consumers to disconnect the household appliances, lighting devices and electrical installations during at least 60 minutes, from 8:30am until 9:30pm, on March 28, IPN reports.
The campaign Earth Hour draws attention to the necessity of adopting a responsible attitude to nature and stimulates discussions on the necessity of identifying methods of saving the natural resources of each country apart and of the planet in general. Within the national activities dedicated to this event, starting with 2009, Gas Natural Fenosa in Moldova has annually staged events to tell the people about energy efficiency in general and about the Earth Hour in particular.
Earth Hour is more than a campaign to turn off the lights. It is an event showing that the people can and must live in harmony with nature, promoting the maintenance of the planet’s biological diversity, reducing pollution and practicing responsible consumption of resources. Everyone should be only open and adopt new methods of thinking and behavior, the supplier says in a communique.
