Gas Natural Fenosa in Moldova has announced that it deals uninterruptedly with all the requests, including those concerning the connection to and disconnection from the electric power supply, even if it experienced a bomb scare this morning, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the company. A man called the police this morning, March 12, and informed that a bomb was planted in the company’s head office in Chisinau. All the employees were evacuated and dozens of police officers and combat engineers checked the building. According to the communiqué, Gas Natural Fenosa received no phone call and wasn’t threatened. The employees were escorted off according to the instructions of the police. The water supplier SA Apa-Canal Chisinau experienced a bomb threat at the end of February. The alert turned out to be false. The punishment for false bomb threats is a fine of 4,000 to 10,000 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service, or up to two years’ imprisonment.
