Two persons were hurt when a gas cylinder blew up in a house in Taraclia town. The man and woman, both aged 46, suffered second- and third-degree burns on about 40% of the body, IPN has learned from the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service.

The blast happened in the evening of March 3. The fire caused by the explosion damaged partially the house’s roof.

The same evening, a woman aged 81 from Taraclia village of Causeni district was killed in a house fire. Investigations showed the fire was caused by a burning candle.
