More than 40 garbage bins have been damaged in a park in Chisinau's Rascani district. “We informed the police and the case is being investigated. Other parks will be also examined to see if the garbage bins there weren't destroyed,” deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said in Monday's meeting of City Hall officials, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “Such an attitude is unclear. We do not know who did it, but they caused considerable damage and created additional workload,” said the deputy mayor. Eliferii Haruta, head of the Green Areas Association, said that only a part of the damaged garbage bins can be repaired. A bin costs 750 lei. Municipal police chief Silviu Musuc said the police opened an inquiry to identify the authors of the acts of hooliganism.
