A 34-year-old man is accused of organizing illegal gambling. The suspect, a native of Floresti, offered participants drugs for consumption, IPN reports.

During the investigation, law enforcers established that the man organized weekly gambling games such as poker and russian roulette. The aim was to obtain money from the participants, who were mostly men with criminal records.

Law enforcement officers searched the suspect's home and found more than 20 thousand lei, one thousand euro, 14 slot machines and poker cards.

In this case, two cases were opened for violation of gambling legislation and illegal drug procurement. Police are continuing investigations to identify all those involved in the illegal activity.
