Gagauzia and Chechnya intend to extend interparliamentary cooperation

The People’s Assembly of Gagauzia and the Parliament of the Republic of Chechnya plan to extend the bilateral interparliamentary and business relations. According to the official website of the Chechen legislature, the issue was discussed in a meeting of the Chechen Speaker Dukuvah Abdurahmanov and the deputy head of the Gagauz People’s Assembly Demian Caraseni, who visited Groznyi on the occasion its day as head of a delegation of Gagauzia, IPN reports.

Dukuvah Abdurahmanov informed his Gagauz colleagues about the sociopolitical situation in Chechnya and about the work and priorities of the supreme legislative body.

For their part, the members of the Gagauzia delegation shared their impressions of the visit to Chechnya, saying that Groznyi is a very beautiful and clean city.

In the meeting, the sides discussed the possible areas of bilateral interparliamentary cooperation, it is said in a communiqué of the press service of the Chechen Parliament.
