Gabriel Stati registered as second independent candidate
The Central Election Commission (CEC) Friday registered millionaire Gabriel Stati as an election contender. In the ballot, he will be written on the 16th place, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Stati did not attend the Commission’s meeting. He was represented by Viorel Grajdan. CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan informed Grajdan that Gabriel Stati’s position of candidate for member of Parliament is nominal and cannot be exercised by a third person.
The symbol chosen by the businessman is a pictogram that will contain the phrase "Gabriel Stati – Path to Success” in the lower part.
Gabriel Stati heads Stati&CO SRL. He is the heir to Ascom Group Holding. His property is assessed as several million dollars.
