A show of the trendiest clothes for the 2008 spring-summer season, magazines and brochures providing answers to the most important questions, contests and premiums – all these were component parts of the Future Mothers’ Festival that was held in Chisinau on March 4 for the first time. Veronica Boboc, editor-in-chief of magazine “Odoras” (“Treasure”) that organized the event, has told Info-Prim Neo that the idea of holding the festival came from the female readers of the publication, who ask different questions about pregnancy and parenting. Boboc said she would like the festival to become a tradition, an event where the future mothers could learn about the products and services that they can use while pregnant and after. Fashion designer Oxana Bolun, the author of the collection “Mommy Line”, said that her clothes were designed to make the pregnant women look nice. They can choose from a wide range of clothes – from elegant dresses to simple, ordinary clothing. The designer recommends the future mothers to wear comfortable, but vivid clothes that please the eye. The readers of “Odoras” were the guests of the festival.
