A contest to distribute the master’s degree scholarships offered by the European Commissions to Eastern Partnership countries is taking place in Chisinau on April 22 – 24, IPN reports.
For the first time this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova is taking part in the process of selecting the future scholars. Until now the interviewees at the final selection stage had been held in Bruges, Belgium, or in Natolin, Poland.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry, the European Commission will preserve the selection criteria of the College of Europe, whose representatives travelled to Chisinau for the contest. The College of Europe is a private university with a wide network of contacts in European institutions, whose major objective is to prepare the students studying for their master’s degree for the public service involved in the European integration process.
