Future coalition will have to closer cooperate with Opposition, experts
The independent analytical center “Expert Grup” is convinced the future administration of Moldova will be a coalition government that will have to closer cooperate with the Opposition, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a new number of the monthly publication “Economic Reality”, analysts say the Alliance for European Integration managed to muster considerable Western support and normalize the relations with Russia. But, the geopolitical context – with Russia being more assertive and the EU more seriously affected by the internal public debt crisis, as well as the heterogeneous character of the Alliance, as ideology and approach, diminished essentially the initial successes.
“Expert Grup” stressed that the dissolution of Parliament does not mean the removal of the existent political impediments. The political class is extremely divided. The electoral subjects of the end of the 1990s, including the language and history, are now brought up again. The last year showed the defeat of the PCRM did not mean the defeat of the Bolshevik spirit, which is promoted by parties that claim to know the absolute truth.
According to independent experts, the cooperation between the government coalition and the Opposition will be necessary first of all from technical viewpoint as nobody has yet changed the norm of 61 votes needed to elect the head of state. “The reaching of a civic and political consensus must be the main objective in the post-electoral period. Without this consensus, Moldova risks missing the chance of returning to normality and modernizing socially and economically, and of using the extraordinary support coming from abroad,” say experts of “Expert Grup”.
