110 lei have been collected during the first four days of the campaign organized by two Moldovan web-portals and lasting till Mach 15. The money and goods will be donated to those 119 elderly from rest home 2 in Chisinau, in an effort to bring them Spring joy. Diana Moraru, the editor-in-chief of the ong.md portal, has told Info-Prim Neo the idea came from a couple of youths who had earlier given a concert for the rest home residents. They said the elderly were having a hard life and needed support. On March 20, the organizers, volunteers and interested people will donate the goods to be bought with the gained money: cosmetic and hygiene consumables mostly. The drive is organized by the portals ong.md and unimedia.md.
