The police brigade with special destination “Fulger” received a donation from the Government of the U.S. The donation was made with the aim of strengthening the bilateral partnership, the exchange of good practices and of continuing the cooperation between the brigade “Fulger” and the U.S. army, IPN reports.
The equipment was handed over by the Supreme Commander for Police Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau Edward Cronin. It is intended for the daily training of police officers, appropriate professional training, enhancement of the action and intervention capacities, correct and prompt response to measures in which they are involved.
The donation was made based on the Letter of Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the U.S. Government and the memorandum of understanding between “Fulger” and the United States Department of the Army.
