The average price of gas and petrodiesel at the pump dropped today by 0.2 lei to 8.77 lei and by 0.4 lei to 9.57 lei, respectively, in what marked the second fuel cut price this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Victor Ghitu, the executive director of the Union of Petroleum Products Importers, the cut in price was due to falling fuel prices on the international markets. “At the same time, the drop in price was influenced by lower sales of fuel compared with last year”, Ghitu added. The first cut in fuel prices occurred exactly one month ago, on February 2, when petrodiesel and liquefied gas became cheaper by 0.2 lei and 0.9 lei, respectively.
