The price ceilings for gasoline “95” and diesel fuel set by the National Agency for Energy Regulation for March 18 are by 0.10 lei per liter of gasoline and by 0.12 lei per liter of diesel fuel lower. A liter of gasoline “95” on Friday will be retailed for at most 27.59 lei, while of diesel fuel for at most 26.8 lei, IPN reports.
The retail prices of the standard oil products on March 16-17 reached the highest levels for the current period. The Agency noted the latest hikes in fuel prices were overcome and the retail prices of gasoline on March 17 will decline slightly. The fuel prices the next few days are expected to follow a download trend.
On March 17, gasoline “95” at filling stations in Moldova was sold for at most 27.69 lei a liter, while diesel fuel for at most 26.92 lei a liter.
