As from July 20, the net profit of companies will be paid to associates exclusively by bank transfer, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided in a move to ensure transparency in the distribution process and to reduce the amount of cash used for tax evasion purposes and to finance illegal activities, IPN reports.
There was introduced the cap of 10,000 lei for banning the performing of transactions in cash by persons who are on sanctions lists and persons affiliated to them. The list of sanctions applied to reporting entities in case of violation of the regime of sanctions was updated. If such violations are identified, sanctions stipulated by the sector legislation will be imposed.
The Commission also approved the closing of the temporary refugee center in Calarașovca village of Ocnița district, where 2,162 persons were accommodated the past year. It was agreed to allocate 2 639 800 lei to the 53 refugee centers that still work. According to Minister of Labor and Social Protection Buzu, it was decided to close the refugee centers whose number of beneficiaries is lower than 20% of their capacity for 20 calendar days.
