On Sunday night, a young man was taken from a dance place to hospital in a very severe state of health after he had been stabbed in the abdomen. According to coordinator doctor of the Emergency Service in the capital Eufalia Negreata, the 20-year old was stabbed by unknown persons at a disco in Sangera town, at 1.00 am. An old man aged 80 was found dead in the street on Sunday at 7.00 am. A 30-year old woman was hospitalised with general hypothermia, being under the influence. The woman was found on Calea Iesilor Street, at around 6.00 pm. Two young girls, aged 18 and 20, attempted to commit suicide, consuming an overdose of drugs. They were taken to “Sfanta Treime” Hospital for detoxification. On Monday morning, a man, 42, was killed by alcohol poisoning. On Saturday and Sunday, 70 Chisinau residents suffered diverse injuries, 9 brain ictuses, and 4 heart attacks.
