Electricity consumption needs will be fully covered on Friday, January 10. As has been the case for the past few days, the demand will be covered from both domestic and imported products, IPN reports.
SA Energocom notes that electricity consumption on the right bank of the Dniester River is expected to be 2% higher on Friday than on January 9. "Commercial capacity at the border with Romania has been reserved to cover 100% of the consumption needs," a press release said.
Thus, for January 10, in addition to the electricity generated by local district heating plants and renewable energy facilities, the rest of the demand will be covered by imports under bilateral contracts or on the stock exchange.
