Moldtelecom is launching a new social project called “Free Wi-Fi Internet Access Zone in Chisinau's Centru District”. The company aims to facilitate the people's access to advanced Wi-Fi Internet services for an unlimited period by creating a special zone with public benches and decorative bushes in the square of Moldtelecom, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the company. The project is launched on the occasion of the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day that is marked on May 17. Thus, the persons who have a WI-Fi terminal and are near the head office of Moldtelecom will be able to use free Wi-Fi Internet. By this project, the national telecoms carrier Moldtelecom supports the world program “Better City, Better Life with ICTs” that was recently launched by the International Telecommunication Union with the aim of improving the living standards in urban communities by facilitating access to advanced ICT services, it is said in the communique.
