The municipality on May 12 and 13, when it is celebrated Low Sunday or Sunday of the Dead, will provide 100 transport units - about 80 buses and 20 trolleybuses - which will transport citizens free to cemeteries in Chisinau, including Saint Lazarus Cemetery.

In addition, routes C – D and 27 will be free of charge during the two days, the expenses being borne by the municipality. All itineraries will be communicated several days beforehand, mayor general Ion Ceban said at the meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

Personal transport will not be allowed on the territory of cemeteries during this period. Municipality employees and police representatives were asked to manage situations so that the people with special needs in wheelchairs do not encounter difficulties.

The citizens are encouraged to opt for public transport or, at least, not to park near cemeteries, as well as to keep the places clean.

Also, a number of ambulances will be on duty near cemeteries.
