The persons with plane tickets to arrive at or depart from “George Enescu” International Airport in Bacău benefit from free transfer from Chisinau and back. The offer is valid for the period between Noblemen 20 and December 31, programs direct of the Institute for Development and Expertise of Projects (IDEP) Iurie Calestru stated in a news conference hosted by IPN.
Iurie Calestru noted that by introducing this bus route, the Bacău Re-Connect Program initiated by “George Enescu” International Airport in Bacău, in partnership with the Bacău County Council, achieves a new objective - to ensure improved connectivity with the Republic of Moldova.
Iurie Calestru called on all those who have plane tickets to fly from or to the airport in Bacău and need transfer from or to Chisinau to access the airport’s social media webpages or the website https://massaro.ro/ and to profit from free transfer during November 20 - December 31.
Departure from the airport in Bacău to the South Terminal in Chisinau is between 6:00 p.m. and 00:15 a.m. and between 10:00 p.m. and 04:00 a.m. From the South Terminal in Chisinau to the airport in Bacău, departure is between 00:15 a.m and – 06:00 a.m. and between 06:00 a.m. – 12 noon.
“We, at IDEP Moldova, recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the administration of “George Enescu” International Airport in Bacău for improving connectivity between Chisinau and Bacău. This memorandum envisions mutual support for beneficial projects that are in the interests of citizens from both sides of the Prut,” stated the IDEP programs director.
The framework of cooperation with the administration of the Bacău County Council and “George Enescu” International Airport in Bacău was initiated at the high-level conference on the stimulation of the absorption of European funds by the Republic of Moldova, which was organized by the Bacău County Council, the Euronest Intercommunity Development Association and IDEP Moldova. The goal of the event was to promote crossborder partnerships and to present examples of good practices between the two states, Romania and the Republic of Moldova, in areas of common interest, such as administration, education, health, the media, the business community, transport to stimulate the absorption of European funds. As a result, interhuman partnerships were established and these are to be transformed into interinstitutional partnerships to ensure the framework needed for sustainable partnerships and to constitute joint Moldovan-Romanian projects teams.
