Free tickets to Zoo for orphans and children from deprived families
Orphans and children from socially underprivileged families from all over the country will be able to visit the Zoological Garden in Chisinau free of charge until June 1. The initiative is implemented by the administration of the Zoo in partnership with the Chisinau City Hall and several companies.
The Zoo’s director Alexei Hantatuc has told Info-Prim Neo that the visits to the Zoological Garden are organized on the occasion of the International Children’s Day. They will take place from mid-May until June 1. The childcare residential institutions that want to go to the Zoo must only submit the list of children to the Zoological Garden’s administration.
The local public authorities can also compile lists of children from socially deprived families and send them. The transportation will be organized based on these lists.
A number of animals were recently born at the Zoo, including to brown Capuchin monkeys, Siberian ibexes, Benneta kangaroos, camels with two humps, chinchillas, and nutrias.
Alexei Hantatuc urged those who want to become involved in this charity event to contact the Zoo’s administration. If sufficient resources are identified, there will be also organized visits to recreational parks for children.
