The Ministry of Health suggests instituting one more category of unemployed persons who can benefit from health insurance covered from the state budget starting with January 1, 2015. These are the participants in the Nistru war for defending the territorial integrity and independence of Moldova, IPN reports.

Under the bill, the war involved about 25,000 people. Half of them do not have mandatory health policy.

The policy for this year costs 4,056 lei. Currently, 15 categories of unemployed persons are medically insured with money from the state budget.
