Free economic zone Ungheni-Business has a new resident company

The furniture making company SA Lia became a resident of the free economic zone Ungheni-Business. In a communique quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the Ministry of Economy said the company plans to invest at least US3320,000 in the business. The company is supplied with raw material by Italian and Romanian companies. The finished products will be exported to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. A part of the furniture will be sold in Moldova. SA Lia's sales are expected to total about US$600,000 and increase to US$1.5 million during three years. The company will employ about 50 persons. The average salary will be minimum 3,000 lei. Forty-four companies worked on the territory of the the free economic zone Ungheni-Business by April 1.
