The inhabitants of Chisinau who form part of socially deprived groups will benefit from free dental prostheses. A decision to this effect was taken by the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) in a meeting on December 1, IPN reports.

The beneficiaries include persons of retirement age, persons with disabilities, war veterans, labor veterans, rehabilitated persons, and persons who received honorable mentions and state orders. The decision also envisions the provision of assistance in unforeseen and emergency situations.

To get dental prostheses, those entitled must submit an application to the municipal Stomatological Center. The size of pension or monthly income of the applicant must not be larger than the guaranteed minimum income. “If the persons have a monthly income higher than 2,000 lei, they cannot benefit from this service,” said representatives of the CMC’s Health Division.

These persons will be able to benefit from services of at most 3,500 lei.
