The Chisinau City Hall will offer 2,500 free commutation tickets for public transport in Chisinau for the European Political Community (ECP) Summit that will take place in June. These will be valid for the period of the summit, IPN reports.
“We can offer 2,500 public transport commutation tickets for the period between May 28 and June 3, which will be called “Summit”. Journalists, technical teams, functionaries of the highest rank - all those who will assist the delegations of the heads of state and government – will come. We will need to inform those from the government about our intention not later than May 20. I ask to write the address of the “Tranzy” application on these boarding passes so that the routes could be checked online,” mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban stated in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services.
He expressed his conviction that the June 1 summit will be an opportunity for Chisinau to present itself as a modern and European city that aims to become an urban development model in the region.
The second ECP Summit will take place at the Mimi Castle winery in Moldova on June 1. It will involve 50 heads of state and government and high-ranking officials of the EU.
