France will provide €30,000 in aid to Moldova
The Government of France will offer €30,000 in humanitarian aid to the Moldovan people affected by floods, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Embassy of France in Chisinau.
The money will be used to purchase basic necessities: drinking water, food and sanitation products, bedlinen and kitchen utensils, footwear and clothes. These will be distributed directly to the flood victims through the Red Cross in Moldova, which has a distribution network covering all Moldova’s territory. About 450 families from the most affected areas will benefit from this aid, the communiqué says.
Moldova has already received aid from such countries as Lithuania, Russia and Estonia.
