A girl aged four drowned in a lake near a farm in Crasnyii Vinogradari village in the Transnistrian region, IPN reports.

The Transnistrian ministry of the interior said the child was taken by the parents to the Dubăsari District Hospital in an unconscious state. The parents related that the girl remained unsupervised for a while and was noticed in the water already. The doctors could not resuscitate her.

Another child aged one year and four months from Rybnitsa was placed under intensive care after drinking a cleaning solution. The girl was at home together with her mother who was busy with homework. At a certain moment, the woman heard a bottle falling and saw the child crying when she entered the kitchen.

The girl suffered serious chemical burns and was admitted to a hospital in Tiraspol.
