Four men who worked at a building site in Chisinau were taken to the hospital with injuries after a crane fell at the site. One of them is under intensive care.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the accident happened on Toma Ciorbă St. “The persons were transported to the hospital for medical care by an ambulance. Employees of the police, prosecutor’s office and labor inspectorate travelled to the scene. The circumstances are being determined,” stated Natalia Stati.

Contacted by IPN for details, Igor Curov, vice director of the Emergency Medicine Institute, said that four men of median age were brought to the hospital from the building site. They suffered different traumas and their state is medium grave to grave. One of the men was admitted to the intensive therapy unit.
