Four secretaries of Infrastructure Ministry leave posts

Two secretaries general and two secretaries of state of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development tendered their resignations, with the Cabinet accepting these, IPN reports.

This way, the head of the Public Policy and European Integration Coordination Division Angela Țurcanu resigned as acting secretary general of the Ministry. Ex-minister Lilia Dabija, who returned to the post of secretary general of the Ministry, also vacated this seat. Gennady Marian and Natalia Eremia will no longer serve as state secretaries.

Also, Mircea Păscăluță was named secretary of state and he will take up his duties on July 25, 2023. He graduated from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and is a bachelor of political sciences and a master of European integration and security. So far he worked at the Chisinau International Airport as deputy manager for development and transformation, while in 2021-2023 he served as secretary of state on transport at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

Ana Mardare was appointed state secretary in charge of regional development at the same Ministry. She will take over on September 26, 2023. Ana Mardare graduated from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and is a bachelor of international relations and European studies. She now studies for her doctorate in political science at the same university. In 2021-2023, she served as secretary of state in charge of regional development at the same Ministry.
