Four persons sustained injuries in a traffic accident that has happened on Calea Iesilor St in Chisinau this morning. According to the Chisinau Emergency Station, the accident occurred near Zorile shoe factory at about 8.00. A Mercedes minibus running on the Chisinau-Galesti route skidded and crashed into a truck. As a result of the collision, three passengers and the driver of the minibus suffered different bodily injuries. A 57-year-old woman sustained contusion of the thorax and dislocation of the shoulder, while a woman aged 49 – a fracture of the nasal bones and cranial-cerebral trauma. The driver suffered contusion of the soft tissues of the face, while a 29-year-old woman – acute stress reaction. The first two women were taken to the emergency hospital, while the driver and the young woman refused to be hospitalized. A womna aged 30 was struck by a motorbike on Vadul lui Voda St on Friday. She was rushed to the hospital with associated traumas, cranial-cerebral trauma, contusion of the soft tissues of the head and fracture of the bones of the left knee. Yesterday, the Chisinau emergency hospital recorded 67 cases of trauma.
