Four persons fell from height in Chisinau in 24 hours

Two young men have died and another two are in a serious condition in hospital after falling from height in Chisinau during the last 24 hours. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that an unidentified man of about 25 fell or jumped from the roof of an apartment building located on Dacia Blvd. He stopped into a tree, than crashed onto the asphalt and died on the spot. A similar case happened last night on Coca St. A man in his 30s was found dead near a building. His body was pierced by iron objects that were on the ground. Closed in the house, an 11-year-old boy tried to pass to the neighbor’s apartment through the balcony, but slipped and fell from the fourth floor. He was rushed to the hospital with an associated trauma, open fracture of the right femur, fracture of the right forearm and other injuries. A 29-year-old man working on a building site fell also from the fourth floor. He suffered an open fracture of the pelvic bones, internal hemorrhage, fracture of the backbone in the lumbar region, and open sole fractures. He was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. A woman aged 56 was found lying with a knife stabbed in the occipital region in her house in Durlesti town. She was taken to the Emergency Hospital. The case is being investigated. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 692 calls, dealing with 77 cases of acute viral infection, 72 cases of trauma, three strokes and a heart attack.
