Three men and one woman were rushed to the Emergency Hospital with fractures and other injuries received when falling from height, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Anatol Proca, managing doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, the first case happened on a building site in Dumbrava village of Chisinau municipality. A 25-year-old man under the influence slipped and fell from the second floor of a construction on a pile of bricks. He possibly suffered a backbone fracture. A man aged 48 fell from a height of about six meters while washing the outside windows of a block on Cuza Voda St. He sustained a mandible fracture. Another man, of 43, was carrying loads up the stairs on a building site situated on Vasile Lupu St. He became dizzy and fell from about 2.5 meters. He was taken to the hospital with a concussion, thoracic contusion and dislocation in the cervical region. A woman weighing over 100 kilograms fell from a plum tree and broke two ribs. It happened in Truseni village. An inebriated woman in her 40s was found naked in a park in Posta Veche quarter. She had nasal bone fractures and bruises. The ambulance doctors presumed she was raped. A 39-year-old woman died suddenly while sitting at the table in her apartment in Posta Veche quarter. The Chisinau Ambulance Service on Tuesday, September 14, responded to 723 calls, dealing with 60 cases of acute viral infection, 73 cases of trauma, ten strokes, a heart attack and other emergencies.
