The former vice president of the Chisinau Court of Appeals Gheorghe Cretu has been indicted. He is accused of accidentally shooting businessman Sorin Paciu during hunting in the natural reserve “Padurea Domneasca” (“Domneasca Forest”) on December 23, 2012.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Prosecutor General’s Office Maria Vieru said three employees of the natural reserve were charged on four counts, including abuse of power, forging of public documents, giving of untrue depositions and constraining to give untrue depositions.

Gheorghe Creru is investigated outside prison.
