Four people were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries after a minibus running on an interdistrict route ran into a tree near Horești village of Ialoveni district.
Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the Communication and Protocol Division of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco said that there were 14 passengers in the minibus and the driver, a 68-year-old man. It was preliminary established that the driver didn’t adapt the speed to the road conditions, lost control of the steering wheel and crashed the vehicle into a tree.
Following the impact, four passengers aged 18, 41, 53 and 67 were transported to the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care in Chisinau.
An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the incident. The driver wasn’t inebriated.
