"Given the agitation related to the presidential election result, 64 percent believe that the President is responsible for the way the country is governed, and 28 percent consider that the head of state does not have such responsibilities," Doru Petruți said at a news conference hosted by IPN.

At the same time, when asked about the foreign policy orientation of the Republic of Moldova, 27% of the respondents said that they support the pro-European course, 12% said they are pro-Russia, 53% opted for balanced relations with both Russia and the European Union, and only 3% would approve of the union of the Republic of Moldova with Romania.
