Four parties would enter Parliament if elections were held next Sunday

Only four parties would enter Parliament if legislative elections were held next Sunday. According to a poll by the Center for Sociological Investigations and Marketing CBS-AXA, presented on February 24, these are the “Our Party”, the Party of Socialists, the Political Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” and the not yet registered Action and Solidarity Party, IPN reports.

The “Our Party” would gain 19.8% of the vote, the Party of Socialists – almost 13%, the Political Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” - about 8%, while the Action and Solidarity Party - 6%. Nearly 30% of those polled are yet undecided. The Democratic Party, the European People’s Party, the Party of Communists, the Liberal Party and the Liberal Democratic Party would not pass the election threshold.

The leader of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi is the most trusted politician. He is followed by the Socialists’ leader Igor Dodon, the chairman of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” Andrei Nastase, and the leader of the Action and Solidarity Party Maia Sandu.

The number of pessimists remained at the same level. Most of the citizens consider that things in Moldova go wrong (85%). The level of social pessimism is now the lowest since sociological surveys started to be carried out.

The data were collected between February 5 and 13. The survey covered a sample of 1,491 people.
