Four new trains will circulate on routes to Romania

A pair of international trains will run on the route Chisinau-Iasi and two others on the route Giurgiulesti-Galati. The new trains will allow establishing railway links to more distant cities. From Iasi, the passengers can embark via Suceava for university centers Cluj and Timisoara, and for Varna in Bulgaria via Galati, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release of the Ministry of Transports and Infrastructure, the announcement was made during the bilateral meeting of the Moldovan Minister of Transports Anatol Salaru and his Romanian opposite number Ovidiu Ioan Silaghi on July 17. Salaru said that an international bilateral agreement would be signed between the Moldovan Railway Company and CFR on a common system for selling tickets. Ovidiu Ioan Silaghi declared that Romania would support the initiation of projects of regional importance in the field of transports and road infrastructure.
