Four Moldovans arrested for pedophilia
Four citizens of Moldova, including a former employee of the Migration and Asylum Bureau of the Ministry of the Interior, are investigated for pedophilia under arrest, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the cases had been examined in May-October. Legal cases were started against the suspects aged between 24 and 50 for trafficking in children. The four are accused of recruiting boys aged between 9 and 16 for acts of sexual character.
Over 2010-2011, there were arrested nine pedophiles, including citizens of Italy, Norway and Greece. A member of the group who is of Greek origin is internationally wanted. In order to promote sex tourism services, the members of the groups created a website on which they published the profiles of Moldovan underage boys. Through this website, the pedophiles selected the potential victims and then came to Moldova to have sexual relations with them. They also had different porno photo sessions.
