Four minors repatriated from Russia
Four Moldovan minors, who were without parental care in Russia, have been repatriated on May 7, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Social Protection Ministry.
The children, aged from 7 to 15, are brothers and there is a disabled among them.
The two sisters aged 8 and 15 are from Soroca district and left Moldova in 2007 for Moscow with their mother and grandmother. As they found no jobs, the mother and the grandmother started to beg in Moscow. The children were found to live in non-sanitary conditions by the Russian police. The minors were sent to a social shelter after repatriation.
A disabled boy aged 9 was left without parental care in Kursk after his mother, a Russian citizen, died. His father, a Moldovan citizen, is working outside Moldova.
The fourth child has been successfully integrated into the biologic family of his father. The 7 year-old boy was left alone after his mother from Arkhangelsk left the home and is not to be found.
11 Moldovan children have been repatriated this year.
