Four young men were killed and two suffered serious injuries in a road accident that happened near Baurci village of Ceadir-Lunga district last night.

Press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Tamara Procopii has told IPN that the vehicle in which the young men traveled skidded off the road and crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, the 23-year-old driver and three passengers aged 27, 26 and 22 from Baurci village died on the spot, while the other two passengers, of 27 and 25, were hurt and were taken to the Ceadir-Lunga District Hospital.

Speeding is the preliminary cause of the accident.
