Four persons died and a child was rushed to the hospital with injuries when the car by which they travelled collided with a truck on the Chisinau-Cimislia road on October 26, IPN reports.

According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the car was driven by a man aged 63. Preliminary examinations show the driver lost control of the vehicle at a turn. This changed lanes and collided head-on with a truck.

As a result of the impact, the driver, his wife, their son and his wife died on the spot. The son’s child aged five was taken to the Cimislia district hospital in a serious state.

The investigation goes on.
