Four judges have been appointed or reconfirmed by presidential decree on the proposal of the Superior Council of Magistracy, the President's Office said in a press release.
Lilia Turcan was appointed for a term of 4 years to serve as president of the Donduseni District Court. Valentina Stratulat was appointed judge at the Ungheni District Court for a term of 5 years.
Aureliu Postica has been reconfirmed as judge at the Orhei District Court to serve until the expiry of mandate, and Vladimir Cravet has been confirmed to serve as judge at the Drochia District Court until retirement age.
At the same time, Svetlana Leu's resignation as judge at the Bender Court of Appeals has been accepted.
