Four persons needed medical care after they were involved in an accident between an ambulance and a car that happened at the intersection of the Chisinau streets București and Vasile Alecsandri in the evening of May 20.

Chisinau Police Division press officer Natalia Stati has told IPN that the woman who was being transported by the ambulance to the Emergency Medicine Institute, the ambulance driver, doctor and doctor’s assistant needed medical care. The car driver and passenger got only a scare.

An inquiry was opened to establish all the circumstances of the accident. The driver to blame will be punished with a fine of 1,500 lei and six penalty points.
