The buildings of two schools and two kindergartens in Cantemir town will be thermally rehabilitated within a project financed by the European Union as part of the EU4Energy initiative. The works will be launched this year and will last until 2020, IPN reports.
The project will cover the Secondary School “Mihai Eminescu”, the Lyceum “Dmitrie Cantemir” and Kindergartens No. 1 and No. 2.
The EU’s contribution is of over €674,000, while the local community will contribute more than €168,000. The Energy Efficiency Fund will support the local public administration by partially covering the own contribution needed for implementing the project.
