Four companies will take part in the contest where there will be selected the financial consultant for putting up for sale the state holding in Banca de Economii SA, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Economy and Trade. The contest participants are: BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking (France), GALT& Traggart (Georgia), HSBC Bank SRL (the UK) and a consortium consisting of the agencies Estimator–VM (Moldova), IAAG Consultoria (Spain) and MEINL Advisories (Austria). An announcement about the organization of the contest to select the financial consultant for privatizing the state holding in Banca de Economii SA was published in The Financial Times on March 28, 2008. The deadline for applications was June 30, 2008. Four participation offers had been submitted by this date. The offers were made public on July 4. The technical offers of the four companies are now being examined by a working group that will designate the winning company. The contract with the winner will be signed until September 30, 2008.
